The new Elsie Fabian School is the home for contemporary and cultural learnings for K-9 students in Fort McKay. The 60,000 square foot school is an architectural showpiece for the First Nation and integrates with other existing facilities Clark Builders constructed in the community, including the Fort McKay Youth Centre and Fort McKay Elders’ Residence.
The school features a full-sized gymnasium with a second-story running track, career and technology foundations facilities, classrooms that are inviting to learn in, and grounds that facilitate a variety of sporting activities.

Our relationship with Fort McKay First Nation began in 2014 and has been growing stronger ever since. Steve Lenarduzzi, President of Clark Builders, and Fort McKay residents and entrepreneurs speak to the positive impact this relationship has had on Fort McKay First Nation.
Clark Builders recognizes that we live, work, and build across Canada on the ancestral lands of many First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities. We also recognize the collective legitimacy of Aboriginal rights and title, and respect the diversity between and among First Nation, Métis, and Inuit across this nation. We value the contributions of Indigenous people as stewards of the lands we share, and we are committed to our role in the journey towards Truth and Reconciliation.
